So what do you do if you have a sweet tooth, definitely want to serve your guests a sweet treat, but want to break from the traditional cake shaped mould?!
Here's a cake-shaped thought for you...How fantastic it would be to wow your guests with a multi-coloured tower of macarons?
We've all seen cupcakes (which I love BTW) as the, *ahem*, obvious alternative to the traditional wedding cake, but how about a pyramid-tower of doughnuts instead? Sugary ones, jammy ones, custard filled ones, chocolate covered ones?! Can you picture it? Sadly, I can! I can also picture my hips growing by the second :)
Who could resist any of these mouthwatering numbers:
They all look pretty delish, right?
And if you can't choose just one (I wouldn't be able to!), how about an entire table of cakes? What could be better than a table adorned with a selection of all your favourite cakey treats?!
P.S. I make no apologies what-so-ever for posting lots of pics of mouth watering sweet treats and take absolutely no responsibility for any diets I may have ruined as a consequence!
